About our Community Clean-Ups
One of the most important aspects of Safe Yakima Valleys work is the Community Clean-up Program. It is important to Safe Yakima Valley that we have clean and safe neighborhoods where people live, work and play. A Community Clean-Up is an effective way to work together as a community in order to instill pride in your property as well as your community. Over the last 10 years, Safe Yakima Valley has organized several county-wide community clean ups.
Since 2013 several thousand pounds of garbage have been collected and over 2,000 volunteers have worked together to clean-up the valley.
